Diagram: Wood Duck Water

Wood Duck Water

This is a water triple with a single blind and a diversion shot. The test starts on the north end of Wood Duck pond and faces back to the south. All birds are dead ducks. Bird #1 is thrown left to right from across the pond landing close to the pond’s edge at 48 yds. Bird #2 comes from the same station and is thrown angled back right to left. Bird #3 comes from the handler’s immediate right and lands 42 yards from the line. A diversion shot comes from gun station #3 on the last retrieve. The handler then runs a blind retrieve from a different line that puts a point of land and a down the shore swim into play for the 89 yd water blind.
